52 NURSES GETS OFFER LETTER AS STAFF NURSES UNDER GHAR GHAR ROZGAR MISSION-APNEET RIYAIT

125 JOBS BE OFFERED FOR MEDICAL AND PARAMEDICAL STAFF ON JOB FAIR SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 15

HOSHIARPUR, SEPTEMBER 3 (ADESH): In a unique initiative to secure placement of nurses in the renowned healthcare institutes, the District Administration has got placed 52 candidates under Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission during a job fair organised exclusively for nurses. The selected candidates will get a salary package ranging from Rs.1.70 lakh to Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum.



Disclosing this, the Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait on Thursday said that the District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises organised this job fair. Riyait said that this job fair registered a massive response amongst both the candidates and employers in these trying circumstances of COVID-19 pandemic. She said that all these candidates with GNM, B.Sc nursing and M.Sc nursing degrees had been offered jobs as staff nurses in Jalandhar based Shrimann, NASA and Doaba Hospitals. She said that as many as 65 candidates were participated in the fair of which 52 got selected as Staff Nurses on the spot after interview.

After having enthusiastic response for jobs in healthcare institutes, Apneet Riyait said that the District Administration had also scheduled another job fair in association with IMA for medical and paramedical staff including doctors, ECG technicians, nurses etc on September 15 at local District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises. She said that as many as 125 vacant positions in various healthcare institutes of Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar would be filled in the said fair by offering them jobs.

Lauding efforts of DBE&E for taking the message of Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission at grassroots level, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Bureau was working  round the clock to secure suitable jobs for the candidates from urban as well as rural areas according to their eligibility/qualifications. She also exhorted the youngsters to zealously participate in the ensuing weeklong job fair to be held from 24 to 30 September, in which as many as 3831 vacant positions will be filled by the different employers. Meanwhile, sharing her experience for getting job under Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission, a successful candidate of Dasuya Kamaljit Kaur, B Sc in nursing, said that the DBE&E was a one stop platform for all candidates to get jobs. She said that she applied for job in nursing at a job fair held recently and now she had received call from the DBE&E and got herself placed after interview in a hospital.


Expressing immense satisfaction over the success of job fairs held in recent months, the DBE&E officer Karam Chand, Placement Officer Mangesh Sood and Career Counsellor Aditya Rana  said that the teams of DBE&E were tirelessly working to secure jobs for maximum unemployed youth under Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
