Punjab Dy CM visiting Lakhimpur Kheri today

CHANDIGARH, October 3 (RAJINDER RAJAN)
Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa will visit Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh tomorrow to have on the spot assessment of the situation there.
Randhawa said, he wanted to personally meet the families of the victims and have first hand information about the situation prevailing there.
The Deputy CM will be accompanied by a team of officials.
Randhawa has appealed to farmers to maintain peace at all costs while promising justice to the victims.
