COMMISSIONERATE POLICE EXPRESSES SOLIDARITY WITH SI HARJEET SINGH 
 * MASSIVE RESPONSE TO DGP’S #MAINBHIHARJEETSINGH CAMPAIGN IN JALANDHAR 
Jalandhar – (Sandeep Singh Virdi/Gurpreet Singh) –
Expressing solidarity with the Sub Inspector Mr. Harjeet Singh, whose hand was chopped off in Patiala a few days back, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police led by Commissioner of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today showed massive response to DGP Punjab’s  #MainbhiHarjeetSingh campaign in the district. 


More than 1600 cops led by the Commissioner of Police supported the campaign by decorating the name plate of Mr. Harjeet Singh on their chest. The Commissioner of Police said that it was a moment of pride and satisfaction for all of us to be part of this campaign initiated by the Director General of Police, Punjab Mr. Dinkar Gupta. Mr. Bhullar said that the entire Commissionerate Police stand together in solidarity against any attack on the frontline warriors fighting #Covid19. 

The Commissioner of Police said that Sub Inspector Mr. Harjeet Singh was a symbol of bravery due to which entire Commissionerate Police has worn his name on our chests with pride. Recalling, the glorious tradition of the state Police to withstand every challenge, he said that Punjab Police has always served the country and its people with dedication and commitment. Mr. Bhullar said that now also Mr. Harjeet Singh has set another benchmark by performing his duty valiantly adding that entire Commissionerate Police was proud of him. 

The Commissioner of Police also recalled stupendous services rendered by the state Police during the black days of terrorism in Punjab adding that state was able to wipe out terrorism due to countless sacrifices of cops and proactive support of people. He said that #MainbhiHarjeetSingh campaign was just an expression of gratitude towards all the frontline cops like Mr. Harjeet Singh who were on forefront in fight against Covid 19. Mr. Bhullar said that the country would ever remain indebted to this supreme hero for his valiant deeds.
