TWO PUNJABI YOUTHS DIED IN CANADA

EDMONTON: Bad news has come from Canada. Two Punjabi youths have died. The youths were from Shutrana village of Patiala and Kurar village of Mahil Kalan. According to the information obtained, Harminder Singh (22), a young man who went to Canada to study from the dera of village Shutrana, died under mysterious circumstances. Similarly, Gurinder Sara, a young man and lyricist from the village of Kurar in Mahil Kalan, died in Canada.

Harminder Singh went to Canada in 2017 to study computer and after completing his studies he applied for PR. A Canadian police officer received a call that the boy had committed suicide, which the family did not believe, so they contacted the boy’s friends in Canada and found out that Harminder had died.

Meanwhile, Gurinder Sara, 30, a  Punjabi lyricist from village Kurar, has died in Canada. Gurinder Singh, the only son of Balwinder Singh, was a lyricist who composed popular songs like ‘Gut Naar Di’ sung by Kulwinder Billa and ‘Red Leaf’ and ‘Sardar’ sung by Sippy Gill.  Due to heart attack a few days ago he was admitted to the hospital. He died during the treatment.
