POLICE BOOKED THREE FOR PARTYING INSIDE PROPERTY ADVISOR’s OFFICE DURING NIGHT CURFEW FLOUTING COVID GUIDELINES

HOSHIARPUR, MAY 3: In a crackdown on violators of COVID guidelines, the district police on Monday evening booked three persons, who were holding a party inside the office of a property advisor near Tanda Byepass Chowk.

The police team led by DSP Madhvi Sharma was checking the shops and other establishments in the area, where a property advisor’s office was found open despite being in non essential services. Some people were found partying inside the shop without mask and consuming alcohol said the DSP adding that such illegal activities would not be allowed and police would take stern action against such violators.

Madhvi Sharma said that a case under section 188 of IPC & Disaster Management Act and Epidemics Act has been registered at Police Station model town Hoshiarpur.
