EIGHT RICE MILLS BLACKLISTED FOR INDULGING IN MALPRACTICES

Coming hard on the corrupt practices, the Department of Food and Civil Supplies Punjab has taken a strict action against eight (8) rice mills indulging in malpractices.

An official spokesperson said that M/s Onkar Rice Gram Udyog Unit-2 of Amloh had submitted fake documents to fraudulently increase its milling capacity at the time of registration. When this came into notice of Food Supply Department, the concerned mill was blacklisted as per Custom Milling Policy 2022-23.

Further, FIR was lodged against the partners of M/s Onkar Rice Gram Udyog Unit-2, village Chehlan and paddy stored in the mill was ordered to be shifted to other mills. The partners in this mill were also the partners in Seven (7) other mills of the district. Taking action as per Custom Milling Policy 2022-23, all these mills have been declared defaulter and paddy stored in these mills has been ordered to be shifted.

ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਤੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਪਲਾਈਜ਼ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੈਸ. ਓਂਕਾਰ ਰਾਈਸ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਯੂਨਿਟ-2, ਪਿੰਡ ਚੈਹਿਲਾਂ, ਅਮਲੋਹ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਲਿੰਗ ਕਪੈਸਟੀ ਵਧਾਕੇ ਰਜਿਸਟਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਸਟਮ ਮਿਲਿੰਗ ਪਾਲਿਸੀ 2022-23 ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਮਿੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੈਕਲਿਸਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਲੋਂ ਮੈਸ. ਓਂਕਾਰ ਰਾਈਸ ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਯੂਨਿਟ-2, ਪਿੰਡ ਚੈਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਐੱਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਕਤ ਮਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਤ ਮਿੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਸਟਮ ਮਿਲਿੰਗ ਪਾਲਿਸੀ 2022-23 ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸੱਤ ਮਿੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਡਿਫਾਲਟਰ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮਿੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖੇ ਝੋਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਸਰੀਆਂ ਮਿੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਫਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
